The EU Alliance for Investing in Children has foreseen in its work programme for 2014 the engagement of an external expert to carry out an evaluation of 2014 Joint Action impact & activities and to develop an evaluation & monitoring framework for 2015. The aim of the evaluation will be to provide input and reflection for designing a follow-up project to the joint work.
EXPECTED TASKS
- Review 2014 Joint Action impact & activities both at EU and national level (with a focus on what the Alliance partners have done at EU level to support national members)
- Develop an evaluation and monitoring framework for 2015
PROFILE
- Excellent understanding of EU policy processes and advocacy on social inclusion and social protection
- Commitment to preventing and tackling child poverty and promoting child well-being in Europe
- Strong background on design and implementation of advocacy activities and campaigns at EU level, in particular targeting the EU institutions. Understanding of the civil society perspective an asset.
- Knowledge of EU networks and stakeholders in the field of social inclusion
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating projects with a number of partners and working in an international context
- Demonstrated capacity to deliver high quality outputs in an agreed timeframe
